Hi, all! Quick message for those of you who are interested (and you totally should be!) in performing as a string ensemble. I think wed be intending to practise for 15/20 mins after the main rehearsal. I sadly wont make it this week due to some personal medical stuff, but I thought Id at least post a suggestion of what we could play :) Elgars Serenade for Strings is relatively well-known and one of my personal favourites. It has three movements, from any of which we could draw, and I think it might prove dynamically and texturally delicate enough to be performed by a small/medium group. And we should be able to get the music for it from the library. This is just my suggestion and Id love to hear some others! Have a great rehearsal tonight :)
