Hi all: Since we are quickly approaching December I wanted to share this memorial video of one of our most famous wolves, 832F known as 06 of Yellowstone National Park. She IS The Legend of the Lamar Canyon Pack and Lamar Valley! December 6 of this year will mark the second anniversary of her death by a cowardly hunter who, it is believed, lured her out of the park using an electronic calling producing device, producing howls of an injured pup. Just prior to this her mates brother and her pups uncle was also lured out, it is believe the same way. It is believed she was looking for him. Please watch and share So that her memory will live on and that we will raise awareness of the killing of these magnificent creatures! This video that the wolf watchers from The Legend Of Lamar Valley Y.N.P. did is very awesome! It is done in two parts, first is a silent photo story board with text of this TRUE LEGEND. The second is a recap with music. Both will allow quiet reflection and thoughts. Enjoy and lets celebrate her life as we dig in to fight for both OUR FAMILY COMPANIONS AND FOR THE WOLVES!!! LET US NEVER FORGET EITHER!!!! 06 the Alpha female of the Lamar Canyon Pack, Yellowstone National Park. Hailed worldwide as A Rock Star and a Legend. As a decedent of the world renown Druid Peak Pack, she ruled and held the Valley Of Lamar, AKA The Valley Of Wolves as her own home territory. Through her uncanny ability to discern a situation, she could take down an elk alone to feed her pack. She oversaw her pack and raised her family to the level of being called The Royals of all the wolves in YNP. She was the Queen of Lamar Valley. Killed by a Wyoming hunter in 2012, her loss is still mourned throughout the world of wolf watchers and advocates. December 6, 2013 was the first anniversary of this extraordinary wolfs death.
