Hi all, We are looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday for Lucys Birthday Balloon Release to celebrate Lucys 16th birthday. Please see below for final details: Location: Point Walter Reserve, Bicton - please see below photo. We will be congregating at the statue on the hill, closest to the sandbank. Time: 4.30pm with balloons to be released at 4.45pm. Schedule of Events: A few words will be said by the family before a song being played and the balloons will be released. We have ordered 100 balloons (this is the same amount that Lucy received in ICU last year). These 100 balloons will be divided amongst 10 significant people in Lucys life and will be released in bunches. Due to Council Regulations, we have been restricted to 100 balloons only, so please DO NOT bring your own balloons to release on the day. Photos: We invite you to take photos of the release if you would like to and please use the hashtag #balloonsforlucy that we can create an Instagram account of her birthday photos. Weather: We recommend that you wear warm clothing as it can be quite windy and cold at Point Walter late afternoon.
