Hi all, am back and with batteries re charged am raring to go although a week in Barbados wouldnt go amiss. I know the children are on holiday but keep their minds ticking over with some educational activities each day. this does not have to be a formal activity, like fill,in two pages of that lovely book I found for you at Waterstones! a walk on the beach to collect round shells is fun for little ones, collect and identify leaves in the park, draw the trees when you get home. for older children set them a research project and talk to them about it. For example, who invented the bicycle, what was the first video game, where did the PAC man game originate. I will put some links here for other suggestions. remember keep those minds working and the transition in September will be so much easier. Happy Days!
