Hi all its time for an Update: thanks a million to all of you who sent Brock and our family love, hugs, and supportive messages. Brock is finally out of rehab and home now and on the next step of his journey We wont know what the full ramifications have been until he goes back to doing day to day life stuff and he will continue rehabilitation for quite some time. Of course he will miss many of the fun things he enjoyed such as riding his bike, any physical contact sports, well nearly all sports and of course some of the things we take for granted like getting your learners permit at 16. It will take some time for him to recover but he is on the journey to get the best possible outcomes. Through this life changing incident I have been totally amazed by the medical and social support and infrastructure we have available to us. The access and information through our health system has been fantastic and educational - you just dont think about these things until it happens to you! Of course we still have a difficult journey on the legal side of this coward punch attack, it is daunting and unimaginable at the moment however we will keep speaking up and out about senseless acts of violence and the coward punch offenders, and we will continue to update you as this process progresses so you can support us to say as a society this is not acceptable and should be deal with harshly in the eyes of the law. We are still living this nightmare everyday and will do for sometime, what is the cost of that? Thanks again for your support and care
