Hi all, please be aware out there, apparently this happened this morning in Gillitts..... Subject: attempted abduction Hi, Shortly after 11 this morning 2 ladies from a complex in Millar Lane, Gillitts (runs between Stockville and Bartle Roads) were out walking. As they approached the intersection of with Bartle Road they noticed a blue VW Polo parked on the verge, the occupants were 3 BM. This did make them suspicious but since it was broad daylight they continued their walk; as they drew level with the car one of the occupants jumped out and tried to drag the one lady into the car. Thankfully, her suspicions being raised, she had a pepper spray handy and gave him a face-full. He let her go, got back into the car which sped off down Millar Lane, thence into Stockville. Where this is leading to I have no idea for attempted abductions have not been on the books lately. Please warn all your members of this incident, tell them to be ultra-suspicious of any parked vehicles containing a number of African males then steer well clear of it. Make a beeline for a place of safety and immediately call 10111 as well as informing your local Neighbourhood Watch and Security Company. Thanks and regards, Alan
