Hi church! Had the opportunity to catch up with the Regional Director for Youth Alive City North today. Youth Alive is an amazing opportunity for youth to come together and encounter Jesus. There is a planned event in the making for Friday 16th May. In the past, there has always been a cost to attending Youth Alive due to overheads etc; however our dream for City North is that the gospel be readily available to youth at no cost! In order to make this a reality, on Saturday the 26th April, Youth Alive City North will be fundraising by collecting money at various intersections in suburbs including but not limited to Greensborough, Reservior, Eltham, Doncaster, Heidelberg. If you would like information about specific intersections, shoot me a message. If you would be interested in helping and getting your Red Shield Appeal spirit on, please let me know asap, as volunteers will need to be finalised by the 29th March. For this to be a free event is dependant upon how much is raised, and therefore how many volunteers assisting on the day. Volunteers will need to be over 15 years of age, and you can elect to either collect from 9-5, 9-1, or 1-5. And thats all!
