Hi dear fellows. Do you also have the impression that SUPERFICIAL statistics can all too easily be manipulated for making ideological points? I just went into the results of a recent study indicating that most white Evangelicals in America hold very worrisome views. lotharlorraine.wordpress/2014/12/22/on-objective-statistics-and-political-propaganda/ Even if Im pretty critical of (Conservative) Evangelicalism, I think that the way these results are presented is preoccupying. For it can readily lead other people to hate or despise ALL Evangelicals whereas there are obviously many of them who do not agree with this. Do you know yourself such examples of statistical manipulations? It seems to be a particular case of scholars fooling lay people.
