Hi everybody! First of all I hope you are having a fantastic day and I want to thank you for taking the time to read this! I have recently been given the opportunity to go on a mission trip to China with Church of the Highlands on May 22nd through the 31st. We will be at Dashu Lake Higher Education Town working with a church in Suzhou, China reaching out to college students and sharing the gospel with them! For several years I have had a heavy heart for the country of China, and have always said that I would go one day but never took advantage of the opportunities presented to me. I am moving into my third year at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, so I have finally decided that it is now or never! I am so excited for this opportunity and I am filled with joy knowing that I am going exactly where the Lord wants me to. Our team has been given the opportunity to reach out with a Chinese Christian Church located in a thriving college town in China. We will be performing a summer camp type of event aimed at drawing non-Christian students into the Church through cultural exchange with native English speakers. We will have activities such as group games, group music/worship, English corners, Small and Large Group discussions, intending to impact them for Christ. Please help our team reach these students for Christ so that they can go out and impact their nation and our world for the Kingdom of Christ! First and foremost I am inviting to this group to ask you to cover myself and our team in prayer. Pray that the holy spirit will guide us in everything that we do! Pray that the Lord will open so many doors for us to share His love and all that He has done in our lives.
