Hi, everybody! Here is another exciting moment for the BCSG Fort Worth, Texas. It was on June 15th, 2013 (Saturday) at 4pm we the Beginners Community Support Group Fort Worth, Texas had gone to the community garden. We were so happy with those gardeners and some of our staff members from the agencies that we enjoyed together to harvest potatoes and onions from their common gardens. There are more than fifty families who are currently holding the gardens/plots for their own use. The community gardens are provided to three-four ethnic groups of refugee families in various locations including Altamesa Community garden. These ethnic groups are Bhutanese, Burmese, Iraqi and Somalia. These gardeners are fully guided by the mutual coordination of BCSG Fort Worth, Texas, Bhutanese Church (IBC), Altamesa Church and Food bank of Fort Worth, Texas. In the different seasons the gardeners are growing different types of vegetables. They grow the vegetables like potatoes, peppers, Onions, garlics, tomatoes, mustard leaves, cauliflowers, mint plants, egg plants, pumpkins, water melon and cucumbers etc. on their respective plots and common gardens too. So, we the BCSG family invites other more very interested families in order to hold the opportunity to be a gardeners could submit your information like name, size of your family and the address of where you are currently living. Thanks Beginners Community Support Group Fort Worth, Texas
