Hi everybody, sorry I havent been here the last couple of days. For some reason my posting, well, didnt. I thought I had some pretty profound and fascinating comments that I had pontificated about but evidently God didnt agree. And I give in- God is always right. I did want to ask you to pray about a couple of things. First, Im very excited to be with my friends at Merson Church south of Allegan for VBS this week. Had a great first day! Also, Deb was scheduled today to have her tooth pulled. The Dentist needed to get some additional info from the cancer people so it was postponed til tomorrow. Deb and I thought that maybe was because we needed your prayers- and we sure have so far with all of this. My Psalm today was Psalm 100. Its a great one that has a lot to do with approaching God in a positive way. Its struck me that when we act as if God never does anything for us (and He loads us with benefits every day) or expect that the worst thing will probably happen (He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him) its got to be kind of an insult to Him. Another one of those children of Israel in the wilderness problems. Instead, I want to- Make a joyful noise to the Lord all you lands; serve the Lord with gladness, come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord He is God; it is He who has made us and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Kirby
