Hi everyone - here is the post we mentioned earlier from the Merediths: Good morning Hills Family...Our daughter Molly Meredith attends yr 8 and we have found ourselves with an issue that we are trying to solve. We live at Parkinson and Mollys usual day consists of catching a bus from Calamvale to Jimboomba shops then jumping on the Hills bus to school. Return leg basically the same in reverse. Day 1 yesterday we were waiting at the bus stop for the usual run- but after making a call at 8.10am to find out where the bus is-we have been advised that Park Ridge buses have cancelled the bus. We have found alternate means for the trip down to school- but the return leg after school is becoming a nightmare. The only available bus we can get her on leaves Jimboomba Shopping Centre at 4.30pm-leaving Molly alone at the shops for almost an hour. We are able to collect her to get her home from the Park Ridge bus exchange in the afternoons- so Im wondering if there are any familys that commute from the Park Ridge area that we would be able to arrange a drop off to that point in the afternoon. Willing to help with running costs etc. If anyone is able to help- can you please contact Ben Pope and he will be able to provide you with my contact details.
