Hi everyone! Could I ask a big favor from you guys? Would you mind letting me know the month and year you joined Facebook? Drop a comment if thats all right! Thanks million. Ive been doing a research about the influence of social media on crisis management strategies and I am stuck at one point tonight. I know that most of us joined Facebook around 2007,2008,2009 and even if we use it, we did not rely on it for news like today. We just used it to keep in touch with friends, share pictures and emotions etc. And we received news from other media like newspaper, journals, radio( RFA, VOA, BBC), TV news etc,right? We were not that interactive with the news like today. I basically understand there was less influence of social media in early 2008 but I cant just say like this without citation or a survey. :( :( (And I dont want to spend too much time just for 2 or 3 sentences. But still its important. Does anybody know any link or source that mentions when most of Burmese started using FB? Or a link that mentions the number of users that hit a certain number?
