Hi everyone. For those that I havent met yet, I just moved here from Philadelphia two months ago and am big on live music. I am going to see a band called Dumpstaphunk this Friday night (3/7) in Santa Cruz. They are playing at Moes Alley which looks like an awesomely small venue. Genre is of the funk/jam variety. The opening band sounds great too. I have seen Dumpstaphunk three times before and its some of the most fun youll have at a concert. And you can have fun regardless of whether or not you know the band/music...its a New Orleans style party at its funkiest so just be ready to dance all night long. Tickets are $21 now or $25 day of. I plan on getting a hotel room for the night and doing the beach all day Saturday before the bonfire. I know Santa Cruz is a little out of the way for some of us so just be responsible in whatever decisions you choose.
