Hi everyone, I am thinking of starting a new Advanced Domestic/Tricks class this term (if there is enough interest). Idea is still do domestic training (distraction training, meet and greets, stays etc) but there will be a large focus on TRICK TRAINING. Trick training would start with the basics and could include; sit pretty (beg), spins and twirls, reverse, bow, roll over, figure 8’s, weaving through your legs, crawl, peek-a-boo, look and peer. As you and your dog progress, you could eventually learn to teach your dog more advanced tricks such as; limp, to cock their leg on command, to run backwards through your legs, moonwalk, even to do reverse figure-8’s and to weave backwards! What you achieve will depend on your level of interest and commitment. This list is by no means limited, so if there is something else you want to learn just let me know. Either way, my intention is that this class will be FUN – for both you and your dog!!! Enrolment night is Tuesday, so hopefully there will be enough interest :-)
