Hi everyone, I am writing this post to represent the Cheticamp Cat Rescue, a small group of cat lovers and volunteers whos focus is to help control the stray and feral cat population in the Cheticamp area with a trap/ neuter or spay and release ,as well as rescue abandonned cats and kittens and adopt them out to loving permanent homes.To date we have spayed or neutered over 25 cats, rescued and adopted out over a dozen cats and kittens. We also help supply food to those who are kind enough to feed these cat colonies. We received great support with our ticket raffle this spring and our flea market and picked up donations from individuals who are cat lovers and want to help us end the needless suffering of more cats and kittens with sterilization. Our funds are starting to run low, and with the busy summer season, we can only look to the fall to start planning our next fundraiser. Some have said that they would like to offer donations, so the purpose of this post is to let interested people know that would like to offer us a donation of any kind , that I will be happy to collect it at Seasonal Treasures Gallery &Gifts for convenience. All monies collected will be put towards veterinary bills and food for the cats. Thank you in advance from all of us in the Cat Rescue Group.
