Hi everyone. I have been reading the threads and see similar topics pop up every few days, so thought I might try help by posting everything in the one comment - Everything needs to fit into a day pack - You cannot take luggage or camping gear - You can buy foldable camping mats online that will keep you off the ground and wont require much room/weight. - invest in a bivvy bag as this will keep you dry and warm - velogear.au have cheap lightweight sleeping bags - disposable hot hands are available at the chemist ($2 for a pack of 2) and they last 12 hrs. You cant go wrong with a few packs of these in your day pack to put in your socks and gloves overnight!
