Hi everyone. I need some advice...might be a long one so bare with me lol. I currently rent a house with my sister and her children. She recently brought home a new dog (a pitbull name Dozer) and Dash does not like him one bit. Every time they even see each other he starts snarling, which starts Dozer snarling and it seems like they want to fight. That is a fight that Dash would not win. They were not introduced properly, so we take the blame there....but theres got to be something we can do. I am only home half the time, I stay at my boyfriends house half the time. He too has a pitbull, but him and Dash get along famously and they even snuggle. When I am home we have to keep Dash & Dozer separated to avoid bloodshed, but I cant live like this forever. A few times we have tried to sit with them both in the living room on leashes. Eventually they calm down and relax but still keep staring at each other. If someone moves they both jump and start freaking out again. I would love some suggestions on how to get them to get used to each other, maybe even one day like each other lol. Please help me bring peace back into the household! Haha!
