Hi everyone! I was camping with our local Boy Scout troop this weekend, so I apologize for not updating. To say it was a bit brisk sleeping outside this weekend would be a bit of an understatement, but nothing a -15 cold bag and a few hand warmers cant handle! :) We bottomed out at 19 degrees last night, after a low of 21 the night before. The NWS forecast was actually for temps a little warmer last night, but some really dry air (I had a dew point of 15 at the campsite) worked in that allowed the temps to drop a bit more than Friday night, especially in the valley locations. Now we wait for this mixed bag system to work up towards us in the Northeast overnight. Its going to be a bit of a mess for a while, but its looking like all rain for Southern New England by morning. The North will see a few inches of snow, and then unfortunately some icy mix accumulation, and I dont like that at all. Beware of those conditions as tomorrow plays out. Then, as the week plays out well come face-to-face with another arctic blast….the joys of the November see-saw! Have a great week!
