I get the strangest thoughts right before falling asleep. For example: recalling an article once briefly read on ExtremeTech regarding Aneutronic Fusion and then thinking about how it actually seems very similar to a plasma focus reaction used in the Star Wars universe; but instead of it being purposed for a power plant the reaction is seen taking place inside the tip of an X-wing blaster cannon. I had to google the article to spell Aneutronic correctly; I really just want to fall asleep. Another thought: Aneutronic Fusion is the most logical investment into fusion technology versus other methods because it has already been proven to work in small scales, this begs the question why we are dumping billions into a international project when past and current science claims the idea cant work. Perhaps there is a master scheme to allocate funds into ITER, so to take them away from Aneutronic Fusion, so to ensure fusion never works, so sustainable energy never wins? OK... brain shutup, your not this smart, were going to bed.
