Hi, everyone. Im a beach bum, so Im a bit biased, but I think Islands magazine, published by Bonnier Corp. here in Central Florida, is one of the most gorgeous magazines on the rack. Theyre looking for fall interns. If youre interested, read further and respond to Audrey St. Clair ... Islands magazine is looking for two fall-semester interns to work on our website. The interns will work with multiple editors and must be open to constructive feedback in a deadline-oriented environment. Tasks will include assisting our digital editor in creating Web galleries, pinning to Pinterest, researching/requesting/resizing images, fact checking, requesting credit info, and writing captions, depending on talent and drive. Administrative tasks (mailings, data entry) are part of the job as well. Must be tech- and Internet-savvy, a strong writer, a self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks, reliable, organized, and not afraid to ask questions. You should also be experienced with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe suite and an interest in island travel are a plus. Applicants with publishing internship experience or college journalism experience are highly preferred. You must be able to receive course credit.
