Hi everyone! Ive just received probably the 30th check-up Facebook Private Message from a concerned reader/friend today, so I thought it might be time for me to give you an update on my medical situation. The truth of the matter is, my appointment with the neurosurgeon did not go so well. He had only bad news for me, and I have to go in to see another, more specialized neurosurgeon later this week. Surgery is still a must, but now it is probably going to be more invasive. Im also confined to my bed now; the pain is too great to even use my crutches, and its dangerous to move too much. Which is probably why Im bombarding you all with my ideas (Im bored out of my mind and in pain at the same time and its such a DELIGHTFUL combination! LOL). I know several of you have sent Get Well gifts and my poor over-worked husband has not had a chance to check my P.O. Box yet. Ill try to send him today. I am so lucky to have him. Hes been amazing. So has my daughter. Wow. I am so lucky.... Everything else might suck monkey balls, but I have the most incredible family on Earth (and some of the very best friends as well). So, there you have it.
