Hi everyone. Just got this email from Kate Jinadu our kids pastor about the Christmas trail happeniong at woodies the week beginning the 1st of December. If you would like to get involved email Kate, (email at the bottom of the message). ................................ We are using a tried and tested resource which has been developed over years by the Redland Education Centre and called Through the Keyhole. It involves transforming parts of Woodlands into scenes from the nativity, for example the shepherds field, the Magis observatory, Josephs workshop, Marys house and the stable, then we take groups of 10 children at a time and follow a trail which leads them on a journey visiting all the scenes until they arrive at Jesus in a manger. To make the trail possible we need helpers to perform some of the acting roles in the scenes, to act as a guide for the groups, to man craft tables, to make teas and coffees and some for helping set up and set down the trail. If you can give us a few hours during any of the week starting Monday December 1st we would love to hear from you. Ive attached a database of roles with timings that you can fill in and email back to me. I just want to tell you that these trails are enormous fun. Ellie always delivers to a very high standard so it will be high quality. And finally, it a wonderful opportunity to bless our local schools and introduce them to the person of Jesus.
