Hi everyone! Meet Brandi. She is a 8-9 year old German Shepherd. She is an owner surrender due her care was not affordable any longer. She was hit by a snowmobile 2 years ago and has rear mobility issues. We are currently having her health evaluated and will be doing bloodwork this week to make sure there are no underlying issues we are not aware of, but so far so good. The vet today said she will need a cart though and we are currently borrowing one from a friend of the shelter. First time on a cart and we have success, she used it! She is a sweet soul, quiet, likes cats, dogs, and children. She had a well needed grooming today and nail trim and was not impressed with her bath but felt great after it! We are hoping there is a rescue with experience for her special needs that could take her on or an adoptable family with a big heart, time, patience, and no stairs :-) Donations towards a cart for her which runs between $350.00 to $450.00 can be made in her name via Paypal at vilascountypets.org, or mailed to PO Box 904 Eagle River WI 54521, or better yet, stop in a visit her!
