Hi everyone! Sorry for my lack of posts on here lately, its been a crazy-busy time! But theres been such a wealth of music in my life this last few months, and its been hugely inspiring! After the Panic Room Euro-shows in September, I was out playing the acoustic Luna Rossa gigs... Then after a much-needed break away to Cyprus, I was back on the road immediately to play the winter tour dates with Mostly Autumn. All of these have been hugely successful, and Ive loved seeing so many of you guys out there at the live shows... Old friends and new - you make these tours possible!!! Just a few days after the last MA gig in Southampton, I was standing in St Pauls Cathedral singing with my wonderful choir friends in Cantate Alumni! (See pics below - taken during morning rehearsals on Saturday!) This is a very prestigious gig, and we always feel hugely honoured to be performing there, for the Cathedrals official Christmas Service.... Especially as were the only choir in the UK to do this, every year! :oO But it is truly a spine-tingling experience, and Im always very proud of my fellow singers - stunning voices, each of them! And Ive know most of them since childhood, so its great times all round ;o) Well be releasing an album in the New Year... also with a new choir name... More on all of that soon! But here are some pics I took on my phone... Not during the service (!) but during our 9am rehearsal there... (Yikes! I dont do mornings!) One of the shots shows us processing up the main aisle, singing Gaudete - which opens the show. Anyway! - Today was my first day without a tour commitment or pile of work to do... Just all the Christmas shopping to sort out now! ;oO But more updates soon.... I think its time to stop working & start feeling festive now!!?!!
