Hi everyone, The educators i work with in the 3yr olds room want the children to learn their names, alphabet and numbers. The current way they do this is saying the alphabet and numbers together every morning at mat time and the children have to find their name which is laminated on the table and they sit there for meal times. Can anyone offer me some other suggestions i can give them to help the children learn these skills inside and outside the room that they can incorporate on occasions into play. There must be a more enjoyable and age appropriate way for the children to learn them. I saw a post about drawing letters and numbers on rocks to play with, is there anymore?
