Hi everyone. We are about to start a new TESOL initiative to help you get more teaching experience here in Auckland but also get PAID! At the moment we are offering this to our Trinity graduates as we need 10 people to start by December 1, 2014. Basically, we have teamed up with a Korean company that provides online English classes to students in Korea. You’ll be required to deliver English lessons, one-to-one, with Korean students. All training and learning materials are provided. You’ll be expected to work 5 days per week in your NZ evenings for 4hrs each night, either from 7pm-11pm or 8pm-12pm. You can work up to 20hrs per week, which means it is possible to work a minimum of 8 hrs, 12 hrs or the maximum of 20hrs per week. The time period you would be working for is from December 1, 2014 – February 27, 2015 (13 weeks). You are not expected to work and won’t be paid on NZ or Korean national holidays. The rate of pay is NZ$20 per hour. You will be paid monthly by EDENZ Colleges, which means, for example that December will be paid on January 10th, and then on the 10th of each following month. You will need to work from home, using your own Windows desktop PC or Windows laptop with a built-in camera, USB headset and access to a SKYPE account.
