Hi everyone! We want to start introducing our horses to you all! The first horse we would like to introduce is Tango! He is a 7 year old BLM Mustang who was rounded up in California when he was just a foal. He had a really rough first few years of life which included abuse at the hand of his first owner, then several subsequent moves between horse rescue organizations. He was adopted by a lady in Lubbock who took good care of him before she had to move out of town and couldn’t take him with her. Tango is still quick to spookat times and has a pretty strong fear/flee response. He is very smart though and when he gets to know a person and extends some trust, he has a cute and endearing personality. He did great this summer with kids who came to the Horseplay groups. He gets worked in the round pen by a young lady from Rhode Island who is currently attending Texas Tech. She really loves working with him. Tango is in need of: Monthly sponsorship
