Hi everyone!, Well Ive decided to tweak our pledge abit... I grocery shopped today and it cost me $300 and I still didnt get everything!! I got my meat from my butchers as usual, fruit and veg from our green grocer as well as some canned goods and then went to IGA to buy dairy, formula, pasta and nappies. I had planned to buy these extra items online but the postage was high plus the carbon footprints created getting it here greatly displeased me! My husband and I have decided that seeing we have a strict budget for us, 5 children and 2 pets, we will keep shopping this way. Our IGA has a bigger range of gluten free within our price ranges, all the dairy we need plus we now get 4c off our petrol at our local distributor (no longer using Shell!) and they will also give community dollars to my daughters kinder. Personally, my husband and I feel as though that is truly being apart of our community! My butcher and green grocer even walk my produce to my car :-) This is the best we can do within our means...
