Hi everyone. You may or may not know me. I had an awesome time at my 4th Otafest. It really enjoyed meeting new and old friends. (I tried to take as many photos as I could but my digicam hated me and my phone was running out of battery. Ill make up for it next Otafest for sure) Its been since August since I finally had the chance to cosplay again but it was well worth it as I could improve on it. Anyway, I was able to debut three new cosplays this time! On Friday, I was Misaka Mikoto and Misaka Imouto (Misaka Clone) from the To Aru (Raildex) series (My first crossplay and I was inspired by crossplayers that I met when I attended Anime Festival Asia Singapore last year though I had to wear a gauze mask when I wasnt having any photos taken), Sakuragi Hanamichi from Slam Dunk (That other basketball anime from the 90s which Im excited about since it will be getting a remake), and Prince Endymion from Sailor Moon. Anyways Im more than just a cosplayer but I have been an anime/manga/game fan since I was 4 yrs old and my first anime was Captain Tsubasa (Think of it as an 80s version of Inazuma Eleven) and my first manga was Saint Seiya (aka. Knights of the Zodiac), Im also the admin and founder of three Alberta-based groups as well. Alberta and Area Armour and Mecha Cosplay-o-holics (For anyone who is passionate or interested in armour/mecha cosplay), Alberta Anisong Lovers for those who love anisong (anime song), and Tokusatsu Geeks of Alberta (A group for those who are fans of Super Sentai and Kamen Rider/Ultraman) and other tokusatsu series.BTW, who was at Chii Sakurabis concert? I went both days and if you saw battery powered lightsticks/penlights/glowsticks being waved at the front (Im sorry if it was distracting but Im a local wota) that would be me. Cheers! Thank you everyone who organized and helped out at Otafest! You were all so friendly, helpful, and nice! (*_)v
