Hi everyone, just wanted to give you all an update.....there was no chemo today...procedure will be more complex than I originally thought. Oncologist went over the game plan with me and it sounds to me like she knows what she is doing. In other words she has a plan of attack. First I have to get a port installed as I will continuously have round the clock chemo which will automatically be pumped into my system. Secondly radiation will be done everyday which I will have to drive there to receive the treatment. This will continue on for 7 weeks then will get a break for 4, then will continue again for possibly another two weeks, then surgery......estimated surgery date end of July, beginning of August. I will NOT lose my hair with this chemo (YAY) nor should I get violently ill. The worst part and pain of this treatment will be the radiation. All of this is scheduled to start on April 21st.
