Hi everyone, this is a new event that you all may be interested in attending ! --------------------------- [SEA & UTERN] General Motors Sustainability Workshop & Student Challenge Simon Guan is an Environmental Officer at the General Motors Oshawa Assembly Plant. He will be our workshop facilitator as we explore how such a framework approach is applied in every process and system at an automotive assembly plant. In this workshop, we will also review case studies of the successes and challenges GM faces as it strives towards one of their major sustainability goals - to achieve 100 landfill free facilities by 2020. Finally, this workshop will engage you to tackle some of our industry waste streams and find viable reuse solutions.General Motors of Canada Ltd.(GM) committed to reducing the environmental impact of our vehicles and facilities. There will be a student challenge with a real work industry problem with some of GM waste streams. By sharing our challenges with students, we hope to generate a creative and sustainable solution.
