Hi everyone, we at Authors, Large and Small are coming alongside our longtime friend and staff member, Jaylan Salman and helping her fund the publication and editing of a collection of short stories shes written that concern the challenges of living a normal human life, within a human body, amidst the current violence, uncertainty, and repression in Egypt. Jaylan is a gifted young writer, an Egyptian national, and a trained pharmacist who most recently worked in the medical field before taking time off to write. Shes an advocate for women and minorities and for education and secular democracy/civil rights in the nation. Were raising cash to get the book printed, initially in Arabic, but it will later be translated. Total cost for this phase of the project is $500, which we plan to give Jaylan by the end of the month. So were offering a discount on our services, $50 off of each of our packages, for people who would like to assist Jaylan. (You may simply donate towards the cause if you wish, but were happy to work with you as well). Were offering to write you a press release and land you five Amazon and blogger reviews for $150, get you blog reviews and social media coaching and management for $350, get you all of the above and set up bookstore signings for you for $550, etc. I will also personally edit your resume and cover letter for $50-$75.
