Hi fiends how are you all, here I wanted to share some interesting event with you all. Here I go yesterday my country celebrated a grand feast of Saint of Paraguay. November 15 is feast of San Roque Gonzalez de Santa Cruz S.J. He lived around 385 years ago. He was a Paraguayo and brought many people to church. A good missionary work did in Paraguay, later he was martyred. The speciality of this Saint is His ‘Heart’ is still alive and very fresh. It is kept as a relic in Paraguay Cathedral. Yesterday we had grand celebration of His feast. Many people came to attend mass in cathedral. A special guest sent by Rome and from Vatican City with the word of our Pope Francis, his name is Cardinal Claudio Hummes. O.F.M., the speciality of yesterday feast was that 25 years of Saint Roque Gonzalez do Santa Cruz. He was canonized by John Paul II when he was visited in Paraguay in 1988.
