Hi friends: I see so much criticism and judgement of pieces that we post here that my heart might explode. I know that we all dont agree on everything—that something I find funny, you may find offensive; I understand that given how unique we all are, we wont always fall to the same side. But can we try to remember that as much as we are different, we are the same? And that we are not just screens and the internet and that we all really exist? There is a human being, sitting here, right now, with her fingers tapping the keyboard, reading expressions of various truths, which sometimes (not all the time) try to invalidate the experience of another truth, written somewhere in elephants pages. We are all so ready to judge and declare that nudity is wrong! Or, nudity is natural! Or (insert every topic here) is offensive! We are all so ready to get up in arms and speak without mindfulness, without kindness, without a constructive, thoughtful dialogue, that I wonder what it is were all trying to do in this world of ours. No matter what our experience is—where we are from, what we look, if we practice yoga or the art of reading comic books—all of our voices are important and deserve to be heard. Can we try to listen without trying to diminish another? (And while were at, can we bring please and thank you back, too?) ~ Bryonie
