Hi friends, My short film Type Cast made it into the top 200 finalist in Project Greenlight. Next step - bio video. I had technical difficulties uploading that video and ended up sending a 26 second selfie video from my iPhone with 3 minutes to deadline. Im posting both videos here because: 1) Putting my raw self out to my community (thats YOU!) is the first step to putting it out in the world. 2) I talk about how art (particularly performance and writing) needs an audience to fulfill its creative purpose. 3) and because I tried something new. Im learning, Im getting better and its a gesture of accepting where Im at, even if it falls short of what I wanted. Im sharing my imperfect work and self. Im anxious. Im posting anyway.
