Hi friendz, last sunday (27.10.2013). our team ( Kanchi Cricket Club) played a T20 match against SSS Cricket Club, at Jey mataji engg college (JMC). due to bad weather, match reduced as 18 overs a side match., we won the toss & batted first, sagar & thyaga opened the innings for us, we didnt got a decent opening partnership. we loss the top order with in the powerplay overs. suddenly vinoth & jaypal took charge. they both played some decent cricketing techniques, after the departure of jaypal, vinoth alone scored some runs, no contribution from others, vinoth remains not out. we scored just 80 runs in our 18 overs. 4 players got duck & 5 signle digit scores. fortunately our bowling in a great form, jayapal & vinoth opened our bowling department. they bowled superbly with great economy , vinoth took the early breakthrough for us, thyaga & gopi bowled decently , gopi & thyaga manage to control the run rate & they pick the wickets in regular interval, later ishant support them quiet nicely, last over they need 6 runs, un fortunately we lost in the final over. atlast it is one the memorable & thrilling match for us... great experience for us.... have to work hard in our middle order batting... expecting the comeback of eshwar & buvanesh from this week, no doubt they both add strength to our side.... we have to appreciate our fielding & bowling because SSS is one of the best teams in kanchipuram, we gave a fantastic fight to them with our fresh team... we have to rectify our errors shortly, big tournaments ahead, its nice that big teams started playing matches with us... its really a good sign.. miles to go..... thank god.... ALL IS WELL...... cheers..........
