Hi guys! Id like some advice. I have a pair of khaki campbell ducks. They are super sweet and hilarious to listen to, though theyre kinda stupid. They have a pen, but it has been turned to soup. And now, its icy soup. I have a number of areas they could go into, all of which are about 1/3 of an acre: - the backyard, which has a lot of foot traffic, where theyd have a lot of interaction but also the highest possibility of escape; - a barn with an electric net fence around its yard, far out of the way and lots of trees; - the rams little pasture, the biggest area, but it does have a ram in it; he hasnt cared about the chickens that occasionally go on walkabout there; - or the last area, a 1.5 acre pasture with the 8 sheep and their guardian dog, who also cares not at all about birds. All these areas have decent shelters and access to water, though no ponds, and 4 high fences. Id have to figure out some way to feed them where the sheep couldnt get to their feed. Not that problematic, but a consideration. If they were your ducks, where would YOU put them? And I still want turkeys. I just have to figure out a way to keep them fenced in, bc the consensus seems to be that they will not stay in a 4 fence.
