Hi guys! Im wondering if anyone can help me with this one! Im in my final year studying geography in UCC! Im currently doing a project which revolves around urban and rural planning and have been asked to select a news story relating to a planning issue! Im conducting my study an Gleann na Locha estate on the Sir Johns road...the unoccupied area (before it was demolished) relates to an area on ghost estates which we concentrated on throughout the module! Im just wondering if anyone could provide me with any info on when the estate was built ( because theres is nothing online), wat was the original asking price for the houses and what yerselves as people of carrick felt in relation to the vacant lettings (if they were vandalised, became a popular spot for binge drinking etc) and how ye feel about the demolishment of the properties! Any info on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks 😊
