Hi, guys. Just sharing: Bruce Lee, in his interview, said, Be water, my friend. He was relating the properties of water and the power it possesses with ones body. The Bible states that Jesus is the Living Water (John 4:10-14). He also commanded that we must be perfect just our Father in Heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Bruce Lee may not be Christian but his thoughts definitely were. The advantage that we, Christians, have is that we can forge our bodies in the discipline that we are practicing while strengthening our spiritual lives through the Living Word of God. Revelations 19:13 and 16 state that Jesus is the Word of God. John 14:6 states that Jesus is the Truth. We can find in John 8:32 that we must KNOW the Truth and the Truth shall make us free. The Bible wants us to hone our spiritual life through studying His Word for us to be perfect and equipped (2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16-17) Let us, my brethren, engage not only in physical but also in spiritual discipline for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph 6:12 KJV). God is good. :)
