Hi guys. Was wondering if anyone could clarify a point concerning play at the net? Weve had discussion about this in the past and it would be good to know the right ruling. If you play a shot and your racket head goes over the net, is this a valid shot? And if the whole of the racket goes over the net is this still a valid shot? Or should no part of the racket go over your opponents net? Weve had play in the past where at the point of contact with the shuttle the racket isnt over the net, but with momentum after the shot, the racket has finished on the opponents side. Sorry for the long post. Would just like clarification on the ruling for this point in play. Thank you. :) xx.
