Hi guys and gals, Im new here and am very much enjoying see and hearing about cassettes, especially within the Synthwave genre. Im patiently waiting for my copy of Le Cassettes new album on tape but sadly, my significant cassette collection disappeared some while ago. My wife tells me that they were all water damaged and got thrown out, but Im not so sure and think mysterious shenanigans took place. Either way, theyve gone :( That said, I am slowly buying tapes again, replacing those that I can remember owning and those that I failed to acquire first time around, such as all the Frankie Goes To Hollywood cassette singles. Ive also pre-ordered two new 808 State reissues on cassette, which Im really excited about! I love that this genre seems to encourage new releases on this old format and will continue to explore and acquire as much as I can. One last thing... Are there any plans in this group to participate in and/or celebrate this years Cassette Store Day on September 27th?
