Hi guys hope youre all still buzzing on getting into uni. Congrats on your exam results and getting into De Montfort Uni from De Montfort University Rowing Club!! Still thinking on joining a sport or society? Come give rowing a go. Joining a sports team could be one of the defining moments of your university life and rowing is one of the best societies DMU has to offer! . . Were open to all experience levels (you dont need to have rowed before). We row both socially and competitively and also have weekly circuit sessions. Your crews also get the chance to compete against other crews across the country in head races, BUCS and regattas!! We have themed socials every week where we get smashed, have a laugh and generally have an awesome time!! We work hard and play hard! Youll make some of your best friends in DMURC. . . Last year was an excellent year for DMURC having smashed Leicester Uni 7-2 in our annual Varsity as well as cleaning house in the DSU Colours awards by nailing the MOST IMPROVED, SPORTING PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR and THE DSU CLUB OF THE YEAR awards! On top of all that a large number of our members including most freshers were able to lose their Novice status during an extremely competitive regatta season. You can be part of that next year!! . .
