Hi guys, this Christmas I have made a very hard decision to stop trying to increase the volume of work that I am doing to make this my full time income. I love this job, and the need to reach a certain volume to support my family was creating too much stress and undermining the joy that I have in making these cakes for you, and my loved ones. So, I have accepted the position of Operations Manager with a local company and I will continue to run Shiny Rubbie People part time. It is a great decision and it means that I can have my cake and eat it too :-) I can still easily take on 2-3 wedding cakes a month, but that limit means that some months this year are already booked up, so please give me lots of notice if you need a commission. You will still find me at the wonderful WOW Wedding Fairs at Ashton Court in Bristol and The Assembly Rooms in Bath.
