Hi guys, this is Dr. Jessy Sidhu from Safe-Vac. In today’s video, I am going to describe a couple of key features of this unique new suction. First and foremost, we are going to realize and recognize that the end of this tip is nice and soft, yet rigid, so now we no longer have to worry about inadvertently causing any trauma to our patients while we are working. This is also really cool when we are doing any procedures without dental anesthesia; laser procedures, working on pediatric patients, or doing any post-operative adjustments. Another really cool feature of this, is the internal screen right within Safe-Vac and that screen, I find helps facilitate certain dental procedures. For myself, I have this unit turned on whenever I am trying in any implant components and porcelain restorations, so that way if something is going to fall, I can suck it up and catch it right in here, versus my patient swallowing it. Another cool feature is during some of my CAD/CAM procedures, my assistants were able to etch those porcelain restorations right inside this tip, and again facilitating my dental procedure, without having to use separate apparatus. The internal screen also helps prevent any blockages that would of have occurred in the coupler itself when we are doing crown removals; removing old dental restoring materials. Now we can just catch them up front, remove the blockage, and continue on with our dental procedure pretty efficiently. I like the fact that this is manufactured in the United States and is also made from non-latex materials. I truly believe Safe-Vac will become the industry’s standard for High Volume Evacuation. Thanks a lot.
