Hi! just want to test the water...anyone looking to buy; a Bedford cf 1974 tax exempt pop top campervan white? his name is Olly...big project £900 KEEP READING! tax exempt (but sorned yesterday) mot until April Ive started to restore it, but I am about to move out of my home, and will have nowhere to home it? :( He is a great but large project. Very desirable van but I have no time with work and my little boy ( he loves it!) -Mechanically sound under the hood, very well looked after. But will need a new fuel hose if I dont get one from halfords today (£5) about 30 cm Starts every time and drives well for the age of it -Needs new section of front exhaust or welding. Interior has been stripped to sand and prime, ive upholstered the doorcards and dash and trims in hessian He has 2 seats up front, 2 sofa chairs with storage that convert to a double bed plus one bunk in the roof(untested). kitchenette with water tank (untested tank) woking gas. worktop, many drawers, wardrobe, stereo, good storage areas. Exterior in my opinion that looks the coolest, needs a full re-sand and spray, THERES RUST some deep, some surface. And the rear bumper needs help Plan was a tent sort of conversion as if the interior were an old school canvas tent, Comes with literally everything needed for the restoration. Lights, a small invertor, leds, chrome bits, bunting, maps, rust primer, spray gun etc. Etc. The van was valued at around £1400 in better shape. Im after £900 with everything included. Big project but worth it?
