Kicked off the CARA season with a major upset/panic attack during her beam routine yesterday. Through her tears I hugged little Brenna, and along with her coach told her to get back out on the floor and support her teammates. She swallowed hard, choked back the tears and agreed with me that loss would build character too. By the end of the meet she had two 1st place ribbons and already qualified all around for regionals. Just caught her outside practicing and Id say shes recovered from her upset. Haha. Kids...will they ever understand the depth of our emotion as we watch them grow up?? ♡
