Hi my name is Dave the founder of Tamworth weather, I would just like to take this oppertunity to welcome all the new followers to TW. Let me tell you what we are all about, we are a community page where we issue out warnings or heads up of severe weather arising on the NW Slopes & Plains & also the Northern Tablelands districts. I also do weather forecasts for Tamworth every morning & a general forecast of whats happening around the districts, I do live storm chases when im not working & i have very capable admins running the page for me during this time. We run a cover photo competition each week, where followers send in photos to the timeline ( only one photo per person), where they can be voted on by liking them, depending on the numbers of photos we receive, either 5-10 photos will shared to the page on Mondays, votes are counted on the timeline & the page, with the photo with the most likes having there photo on the cover for 1 week. The admin team consists of myself, Deb, Dee, Andrew, & Kim, we are always on the lookout for more admins especially in Tamworth so if you have a passion for weather & have the understanding of how a radar works & able to load warrnings we want to here from you. We are also partner pages with North Coast Storm Chasers, who as from Monday are extending there area, gradually to the whole of Australia we encourage you to like there page. This page is becoming very popular with the local community because of the content we display such as weekly dam levels, approaching storm systems, warnings, photo comp, mostly accurated forecast & lots of other intresting weather related photos , video etc. Feel free share, tag or tell your friends about us.~Dave & the admin team.
