Hi, my name is Robert Venter, I am a very unsatisfied customer. I have never experience such terrible customer service in my life and I have never witnessed a company screw up so many things for one customer and one item; this stupidity rivals the government shutdown. I can’t believe you staff could not act accordingly after so many screw ups. I will never buy a go rhino product again! Today is October 3, 2013 and I purchased my go rhino brush guard from a gentleman her in the city back on July 22. Yes this was a craigslist deal and I understand that I bought a guard for a different Chevrolet, but the whole purpose of me contacting your company was to buy the proper brackets for my 2004 Chevy Avalanche and yes this brush guard fits my truck just fine. I contacted yall on july 25th and tried to get the proper brackets, I was supposed to get a phone call in return after sending an email to Paul Barnaby. A few days later I had to call and get my situation figured out. After ordering the product I was told it would take two to four week to get the product. At two weeks I gave your staff a phone call to get a checkup. I was told there was a problem and that I would get a call back in the morning. The afternoon of the next day I finally gave your team a call back because I never receive a phone call. I was then told that it takes about four weeks to get the brackets made. At four weeks I called to get a checkup. I was then told that it takes four to six weeks normally to get the brackets. At six weeks I called again and was told that my brackets weren’t ready yet. A week later still no brackets. So I called again to change some credit card info and to figure out where my brackets were and lo and behold there were some problems with whatever and the gall had to call me back. I waited another day and no CALL! So I called back and got that problem fixed. I was then told that I would get a call when my card was going to get charge and when my product was going to be shipped out. The weekend goes by and I notice a charge to my card from go rhino for seventy something dollars. I was told, back in July, that the product was going to be about fifty bucks with tax. After calling and leaving a nasty voice mail message I finally got a returned phone call. That problem was fixed, then after waiting seven and a half weeks I finally got my brackets. Yay! NOT. The brackets your team sent me were the wrong brackets. I called Paul Barnaby and told him the news and he said, Oh, “god I’m so sorry; that should never happen; the brackets are supposed to be checked before leaving the warehouse; I’ll get this fixed and you’ll have your parts in a couple of days.” A day or two later I give him a call and nothing has been done. Paul said he would have ben help me out and I would receive a call from him later that afternoon. I had to call him back and right before yall closed because he didn’t give me a call. Ben put me on hold and a few minutes later said that the computers were down and I would get a call in the morning. I had to called him the next day during the afternoon. We finally got the correct part ordered and it came to my door today. Yay! Once again NOT! These Damn brackets you sent me had to be defected brackets off of the shelf because neither bracket fit properly and I had to spend an hour this evening fixing these freaking things. Yes, finally after two and a half months my brush guard is on my truck, BUT I’m going to have to take these brackets off and my brush guard to go get the brackets re-powder coated and have to spend more money, so they don’t rust! The only reason I called yall up to get the brackets was because I wanted to save time, money, effort and and possible f ups to have someone else make the brackets for me. What a freaking mistake. People are going to come up to me and look at my truck and say, “man that is a good looking brush guard; were did you get it.” Im going to tell them what happened and you’re going to lose another customer and I’m going to make sure all of my friends and family know and all of facebook what a terrible company this must be!
