Hi people, of late i have noticed a very weird behaviors with our longtime schoolmates and few teachers. Back in school we had friends who lived a high life in terms of wearing original school uniform from Kenya Uniforms, carried good lunch with tea, never missed a tour or a video show, had a mathematical set from class 4, had all text books plus extra exercise books, had a big green school bag etc. The stories they shared were about how their parents have acquired a coloured screen for their black n white GreatWall, TV programs like Tarzan, how their fathers have acquired a big Sony Ericsson etc. Teachers on the other side mocked our efforts of raising fees and not able to acquire good school vinyasa since some of use survived with mutumba vinyasa trousers-like. We withstood all that including being abused with our parents. Time changes, and after school life changed too. Some become hopeful while others become hopeless. My problem is when you meet this previous highlife school friends and tend to term your current life as full of PRIDE and BOASTFUL. They forget very fast that we helped our parents finish a digging project in their homes. They forget torn clothes was our fashion. Lets respect each other because its God who sets our destiny.
